Emergency Over

(N.Z.P.A.-Rtut*r —Copyright} BANGKOK, July 23. A Malayan delegation arrived in Bangkok today to attend what is expected to be the final meeting of the Thai-Malayan senior staff, set up several years ago to direct border operation* against the last of the Communist terrorists. Thailand and Malaya have agreed to dissolve their joint staff and to conduct operations on their own after establishing that there are only a few’ remaining terrorists along their jungle frontier.

Thai officials said co-opera-tion between the two countries against the terrorists would be limited to an exchange of information; Communist guerrillas terrorised Malaya for nearly 10 years before Commonwealth troops routed and drove them to the frontier wtiere an estimated 200 of them are still hiding.
