Rugby League 17 ATTENDING COACHING
3-Day School At Christchurch (N.Z. Press Association) GREYMOUTH, July 24. Seventeen Rugby League players from Otago, Canterbury and the West Coast have been named by the South Island selectors, Messrs T. F. McKenzie (Greymouth) and E. Butts (Christchurch), to attend a coaching school in Christchurch early next month. The school will be held on August 2. 3 and 4. and the coaching will be carried out by the national advisory coach. Mr C. R. Mounitford, assisted by Mr L. Blanchard, of Christchurch.
The course will conclude with a match against a Canterbury team on the afternoon of Sunday. August 4. The 17 announced today are: G. Panagiotidis, P. Butterfield. P. Karaitiana, R. Maaka (Otago), C. Preece, B. Langton J. Bray. G. Clarke, P. Doig. E Bennett. I. Drayton (Canterbury), N. Nahu. A. Gibson. T Crowley. K. Dixon. R. Scholefield, F Kennedy (West Coast)
