Air League Plans For Year
A membership drive, and a raffle to raise funds to sponsor a boy to the Outward Bound school at Anakiwa are part of the plans of the Canterbury branch of the Air League of New Zealand for the coming year. At its annual meeting on Tuesday evenig. which was attended by 41 persons the film “Farnborough 1962” was shown Officers elected were: patron, Sir Robert Clark-Hall: president. Mr R. F. Short: vice-presidents, Messrs C H Taylor and J R. Maling; secretary. Mrs P J. Cameron: committee. Messrs A. Marks. R. L. Woodfield, J. E. Davies, P. Voyce, and A. E. Ellis. Mrs R. L. Woodfield and Misses J. Palmer and M Womall.
