Pedestrian's Leg Broken
A pedestrian, Miss Helen Jowsey, of 473 Cashel street, suffered a broken leg when she was hit by a powercycle in High street at 1 p.m. yesterday. Miss Jowsey was taken to the Christchurch Hospital by ambulance. Her condition last evening was reported to be comfortable.
