No Increase Sought

A unanimous agreement to conform to last year’s South Island district shearing rates, peculiar to each shearing district, for the coming season, was made by the agricultural workers, shearers and shed hands of the South Island section of the New Zealand Workers’ Union, at its annual conference in Christchurch.
