(NX Press Assoctottdn) • INVERCARGILL, July 22. The Dunedin fishing boat Solstar, which Was holed off Ruapuke Island in Foveaux Strait about 12.15 a.m. today may be a total loss. Back safely at Bluff this morning, her skipepr, Mr J. Little, of Dunedin, expressed doubts about chances of salvaging the Solstar, which is valued about £ll,OOO.

It is presumed that about £4OOO worth of crayfish tails she was carrying will bo a total loss. Mr Little said before bo returned to the site of the wreck with insurance assessors that he was asleep when the bang wakened him. He glanced at the time and immediately sent out a radio message that he was in difficulties.
