(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. July 22. An application from a former New Zealand Rugby League full-back. A. A. Smith, for reinstatement to Rugby Union was rejected st todays’ meeting of the union s executive.
His application—forwarded through the Canterbury Rugby Union—was refused on the grounds that he had played international league Applications from A. K. Sharp (Bay of Plenty) and B. Devies (Counties) were approved
