25 Seats For S.I. Wanted
(N.Z. Press Association) I WELLINGTON, July 22. In spite of almost unanimous opposition fftxn North Island speakers, a Canterbury remit to stabilise the number of South Island Parliamentary seats at a minimum ot 25 (and to increase the number of North Island electorates to maintain proportional representation) was carried on the voices at the annual conference of the National Party today.
