FILMING OF RECORDS

Council Denies Permission

(N.2 Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 22 The Lower Hutt /vity Council tonight refused the Genealogical Society of Utah, permission to microfilm city burial records. Mr D. A. J. Hadley said people could pry into these records if they wished, but to do it with cameras on a production-line basis was going too far. Records kept in the city were a trust from the people.

Permission was refused oh a 9-4 vote.
