Drainage Board Contracts
Tenders for two contract* have been accepted by the Christchurch Drainage Board In both cases the lowest quotes were accepted. P Mullan, with a tender of £4lB 10s. received the contract for a stormwater outfall extension in Avonhead road, and K C. King, with a tender of £93 9s 3d. received the contract for a subsoil drain by Kerrs road and Wildwood avenue. Other tenders were;.*— Stormwater extension: KiUn Contractors. Ltd., £424 12s 6d. Hayman and Mitchell, £496 4s, W Carroll. £505. B O'Shaughnessy, £616 2s. Johnston and Pullan, £627 15s. Subsoil drain: P. T. Wornall and Sons. £ll7 17s. Johnston and Pullan £149 Bs. T G. Storer. £l7B 12s lOd. W Carroll £l9B 6s. B. O'Shaughnessy £2Ol 14s. Kiwi Contractors, Ltd., £25 3s lOd. P. Mills £329.
