WELLINGTON. July 9. A surplus of more than £3 IniUion In the accounts of the Earthquake and War Damage Commission is disclosed in Ma annual report for the year ended March 21 last. The report, tabled in Parliament today, shows that Earthquake and War Damage Commission is disclosed in premiums totalled £1472409, storm and flood damage premiums £218,125, and interest £1423453. but payment* were only £303423 The surplus was £3,110404, the largest in recent year*. The total of the account i* now £20.978480. The disaster account has a credit of £749,771.
