Chinese Fail To Attend
(NZ Press Association—Copyright) MOSCOW, July 9. The Chinese negotiators failed to appear at the Russian-Chinese reconciliation talks at the usual hour today, after the publication of the new Russian rebuke to Peking, the Associated Press said. Western correspondents outside the mansion in the Lenin Hills section of Moscow, where the talks have been held, were told by a policeman that the Chinese would not be coming. Reuter said correspondents watching the meeting place did not rule out the possibility that the delegations had arrived before they got there. Nor did they think it impossible that the meeting had been switched to another place.
