Parliamentary Group’s Visit

A Parliamentary delegation from the Federation of Malaya will arrive tomorrow at Ohakea by a special Royal New Zealand Air Force flight from Singapore for a visit to New Z«?aland Led by the Minister of Transport. Data Sardon Bin Haji Jubir, the four-man party will visit the main centres before departing on July 18

The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today that parties of New Zealand members had visited the federation and other Asian countries this year and last. “This year it was felt that the opportunity should be taken to invite members of Asian legislatures to visit New Zeeland. The party from the Federation of Malaya will be the first of several Parliamentary groups expected to visit this country,” said Mr Hdyoake

The party would observe a wide range of New Zealand's social and economic activities Main visits in the party's itinerary are to Palmerston North, Wellington. Dunedin. Christchurch. Wairakei. Rotorua. Waite™ and Auckland. Accompanying the Minister of Transport will be Enche Abdul Samad Bin Osman. Enche Lee Siok Yew and Enche Tajudin Bin Ali. all members of the present Government of Malaya.
