Homosexuality Charges (NJS.P.A -Reuter— Copyright) LONDON. July 5 Richard Henry Holland Vassal! was accused at a Court in Brentwood, Essex, today of four charges of indecently assaulting two schoolboys at a Brentwood cinema on April 30. The prosecution alleged Vassal! told the police: ' Do vou imagine my doing a thing like that? You appreciate my position if this gets out to the papers. My name is Vassa H and you realise who I am. “My brother was recently sentenced to a long term of imprisonment. Now this and it would kill my father. ’ Vassall of Higbam, near Rochester, Kent, pleaded not guilty to one summons alleging he assaulted an 11-year-old boy. after his solicitor had successfully sought separate hearings of the four charges. William Vassall. a 38-year-old Admire ky clerk, was sentenced to 18 years gaol last year for spying for Russia. His father is an Anglican clergyman.
