Another Fine Win By Southbridge
Southbridge, which had caused an upset when it beat the leading team. Leeeton, two weeks ago. defeated New Zealand Regiment A previously coleader with Leeeton on Saturday in the Ellesmere subunion's jenior ’ competition. Results were:—Leeston 33. Spiingston ft; Southbridge 11 New Zealand Regiment A 3; Dunsandel 14. Peninsula 0; New Zealand Regiment B 15, Lincoln 14
The competition points are:— Leeston 16. New Zealand Regiment A 14, Dunsandel and Southbridge 12. New Zealand Regiment B 8. Irwell, Peninsula and Lincoln S* Springston 0.
Nelson Title For Old Boys (N Z. Press Association) NELSON June 30. Old Boys won the Nelson senior Rugby championship on Saturday, beating Waimea. 11-6 in the final decisive match Championship points were: Old Bovs 14. Waimea 13. Nelson 13. Celtic 11. Rival 10 Stoke 0.
