(N Z. Press Association) TAURANGA, Jun e 26 The television programme last night could have got rather hot for Mr and Mrs W S. H. Hasler of 23 Ranginui street. Tauranga, if their cat Whisky had not discovered the surrounds of a space heater on fire and given the alarm.

Mr and Mrs Hasler were watching television about 9 p.m. when Whisky began playing up in the next room. "We thought she just wanted to come through and ignored her,” said Mrs Hasler today. “Then she nearly went mad and when my husband went through to And out what was wrong he found the Are."
