Constable Fined For Speeding
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. June 26. A constable. Bruce Alexander Erwin Hay, aged 22, was convicted and fined £2O by Mr S. Hardy, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court at Papakura today on a charge of exceeding 30 miles an hour.
Senior Traffic Officer J. H Donovan said Hay was checked at 50 miles an hour travelling through the borough. In evidence. Hay said he thought his speed was 32 or 33 miles an hour. -
