Three Roys Questioned

Three 14-year-old boys were questioned by the police yesterday and will anpear in the Children's Court on charges of mischief, theft and interfering with cars. The charges relate to damage done to a probation officer’s car on Thursday evening last week While it was parked outside the Macfarlane Park Kindergarten. The probation officer was inside the kindergarten addressing parents on juvenile delinquency. Half-eaten bananas were smeared inside and on the outside of a car belonging to one of the parents. On the Friday night four other cars were interfered with outside the adjacent Acheson avenue shopping centre, and money taken from a shop.
