IBy our Rugby Correspondent J

Vivian, a hard-running three-quarters, was chosen as an emergency for the Canterbury team to play West Coast, but had to withdraw because of an injury.

Canterbury representatives from last season who have not been included are A. F. Orme, Q T. Tapsell. T. J. Morris, D. C. Leary and B. A. Coulter.
