The Totalisator Agency Board handled £350,452 5s on Saturday's racing and trotting meetings, compared with £348,608 on the corresponding day last year. Saturday’s total was made up of £171,591 10s in win and place bets and £178,860 15s on doubles. Details:—
Auckland On-course: £194,359 9s, up £23 186 Off-course: £157,859 15s, up £21,480 15S. Manawatu On-course: £62,209, up Off-course: £115,798 15s, down £BBBl 15s. Nelson On-course: £25,800, down £4OOB. Off-course: £27,606 ss, down £3385 ss. Dunedin On-course: £31,147 10s, down £13,596. Off-course: £49,187 10s, down £ 7569 ss.
