Sir,—l was fortunate enough last evening to hear broadcast from 3YC a magnificent lecture by Sir Herbert Read under the title, "Art and Life.” Thinking people who are concerned with the situation in the world today and who wish to understand something of its development as reflected •In the behaviour of people ait all levels of culture ought to hear it.
