Another Section To Be Sealed
A further section of the road over Gebbies Pass is to be reconstructed and sealed The Wairewa County Council yesterday decided to seal the portion from the summit to th? council’s boundary on the Teddington side of the pass Several rocky spots would make the work difficult and the road would have to be reconstructed in places, said the council's chairman (Mr W C Miller) A plantation of pine trees would also have to be removed.
The County Clerk (Mr L Wealleans) said that £3OOO was available for the work.
