Investments with the Totalisator Agency Board on the three race meetings on Saturday amounted to £349,(M9 ss. This was made up of win and place bets amounting to £168.996 and £180,053 5s was invested on doubles. Saturday’s total was £64,250 10s less than the amount handled on the corresponding day last year when five meetings were held. Details:— AUCKLAND On-course: £237,330 ss; up £37317 10s. Off-course: £177,036 ss; up £4676 15s. WANGANUI On-course: £60,674; up £3192 10s. Off-eourse: £114,907 ss; up £18,317. DUNEDIN On-course: £41,995; up £2684 10s. Off-course: £57,105 ss; up £11,896 10s.
