Governor-General Meets Teams

The members of the England and New Zealand teams were introduced to the Governor-General (Sir Bernard Fergusson) immediately before the start of the test match on Saturday. The teams lined up in front of the No. 1 stand at Lancaster Park and, after the playing of the National Anthem, the introductions were carried out by the captains. M. P Weston (England) and W. J. Whineray (New Zealand).
