AUCKLAND, May 31. The number of young people who came before the Court for crimes of dishonesty and sexual offences in circumstances which might not have happened but for drink appalled him, Mr Justice Richmond said in the Supreme Court at Auckland today. His Honour made the comments when gaoling Ronald Tawhai, aged 20, a workman, for three years for rape and two years for attempted rape, the sentences to be served concurrently.
