FARMER KILLED

Tractor Rolls Over (N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. May 28 A farmer was killed late this morning when the tractor he was driving rolled over him down a 15-foot bank, crushing him beneath it. He was Arthur Bennion, aged about 42, of Mystery Creek road, near Kaipaki, about eight miles from Hamilton Mr Bennion was driving the tractor down a track on an angle to the bank, when it slid on the greasy surface and left the track. His body was found by his next-door neighbour, Mr M W Cunningham, at 1.15 p.m. Mr Bennion is survived by his wife and four children.

Course For Police.— About 25 Auckland policemen will train for a week with the Army’s tough Special Air Service Squadron at Papakura later this year to learn bushcraft and survival technique for future search and rescue work.—(P A.)
