Soccer Tour Awaits End Of Ban

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. May 18.

If the World Soccer Federation’s ban on Australia is lifted, a Hong Kong representative team will probably tour New Zealand, according to a New Zealand Football Association member, Mr Charlie Wilkins, of Wellington.

Mr Wilkins has recently returned from a trip which included a visit to Hong Kong. “Hong Kong want to come to New Zealand.’’ he said, •‘but unless they ean include a visit to Australia they would find the venture financially risky. “They ail believe the ban on Australia will be lifted soon. As soon as it m. Hong Kong will be in, boots and all.”
