Prize For Plastics Apprentice
A tool and dye-making apprentice, Mr J. B. Vale, has been awarded the Swift and Company, Ltd., plastics prize for apprentices in the plastic industry. He is an apprentice with the Christchurch firm of P.D.L. Industries, Ltd. The prize is £5O for the purchase of technical books or tools for use in the trade. It has not been awarded before' but will become an annual award. The presentation will be made at the meeting of the South Island branch of the Plastics Institute of New Zealand.
