Four Teams Share Top Place Four teams are joint leaders of the Ellesmere Sub-Union senior Rugby competition. Points are:—New Zealand Regiment A and Peninsula, each four games 6; Leeston and Dunsandel, each three games 6; New Zealand Regiment B 4; Southbridge 2. Lincoln 2. Irwell 0, Springston 0 The feature match of Saturday's senior games was that played between New Zealand Regiment A and Leeston before a large crowd at Dunsandel. Leeston scored a try and kicked a penalty goal to New Zealand Regiment's sole penally goal. Results were:— Senior.—Leeston 6. New Zealand Regiment A 3; Dunsandel 15, Southbridge 3! New Zealand Regiment B 13. Irwell 11; Peninsula 17. Springston 9: Lincoln had the bye. , „ Junior —Leeston 12. Lincoln 9: Prebbleton 11, Burnham 3; New Zealand Regiment 31, Dunsan-del-Irwell 8: Southbridge had the bve , ' Third Grade.—Peninsula 19. Leeston 3: Lincoln 15 Southbridge 0: Waihora had the bye. Fourth Grade —Leeston 6, Rolleston 6: Lincoln 11. Southbridge 0; Waihora had the bye. - Fifth Grade—Lincoln A 23. Leeston 6; Lincoln B 20. Irwell 3; Southbridge 8. Prebbelton 3: Waihora 11. Burnham 9: Dunsandel had the bye.
