Satellite Visible
If weather conditions are favourable. Christchurch people should be able to see the American balloon satellite, Echo I. on several nights during the next two to three weeks.
Tonight the satellite will pass almost overhead at 6.56 p.m. and again shortly before 9 p.m. Tomorrow it will be visible at 7.59 p.m. and on Wednesday just before 7 p.m. and again shortly before 9 pan. On Thursday it will pass overhead just after 8 p.m. The satellite would continue on the same pattern of alternate times on alternate days for the next two to three weeks. Mr C. S. L. Keay, of the University of Canterbury said last night.
