THEOLOGICAL CONFERENCE
Students Gather At Lincoln Theological students from the Dominion’s various church colleges have gathered at Lincoln College for a national conference organised by the National Council of Churches to promote greater understanding between denominations. Taking part this year are 56 students who in the next three days will discuss among themselves their profession, the agreements and disagreements between their respective churches and hear various lectures, and generally get to know each other better. The principal speaker at the conference will be the Rev. J. Garrett, principal of Camden Theological College. Sydney. Before this appointment Mr Garrett was the director of the department of information of the World Council of Churches at Geneva. The conference will end on Thursday.
Crashed Hand. — Peter Coffee. of 33 Clarence road, suffered a crushed hand when a car rolled over near Little River yesterday. He was admitted to Burwood Hospital.
