Cathedral Square
Sir,—Your leading article on Cathedral square was excellent. I especially liked the reference to a new Post Office. In a big photograph of Cathedral square displayed in the public library recently the present Post Office is very prominent. The date, 1881. Dunedin, Auckland, and Wellington have all had new post offices since Christchurch 'Wellington twice, I think i. It is time we had a new one. The present building is oyer 80 years old. How about the Canterbury M.P.’s making a move?—Yours, etc., • ST. ANDREW.
