Theatre Audiences
New Zealand theatre audiences were among the world's best, the entrepreneur. Mr Harry Wren, told the Wellington Advertising and Publicity Club yesterday He said New Zealand had municipal theatres to play tn. early hotel closing, few bowling alleys, few attractive night clubs, and few television addicts. Here were family audiences, unimpressed by vulgarity. Australia, where the theatre had tremendous opposition, was the worst entertainment market in the world Radio and television in America and Australia had become like electrical appliances—they were switched on and off according to the need.—(P.A.)
