Plane Returns To Airport

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 1. A National Airways Corporation DC-3 carrying 17 passengers developed engine trouble 10 miniites after leaving Rukuhia airport, . Hamilton, at 3.20 p.m today It returned to Rukuhia v’here it landed on the power of one engine. The plane was on a flight to Palmerston North and Wellington. A relief plane took off with the passengers at 5.15 p.m. The fault was noticed when the engine ran roughly and an oil leak was observed. The engine will be replaced.
