“Surveys May Save
Millions”
The Health Department’s operational surveys of hospital bed needs in New Zealand “may save the country millions.” Mr L. A. Bennett said at the North Canterbury Hospital Board's meeting on Wednesday
The first such survey, carried out in North Canterbury last yagr. had probably delayed several of the board’s projects by a year, but certain features which tad already appeared in toe gynaecological section of toe survey—the only section so far in toe hands of toe board-showed how important toe knowledge gained could be to forward planning. sa*d Mr Bennett. The results of the survey have not yet been made public.
