Rose Society Meets
A talk on roses, old and new, was given by Mr J. Watling at a meeting of the Canterbury Rose Society. Mr Watling showed slides to illustrate has talk.
Trophies presented for table shows last year were:— Roseneath Challenge Cup, D. M. Mcllroy: Te Whare Vase, H. L. M. Wyles; Roseneath Challenge Bowl, Mrs R. Donovan; Rainbow Trophy, W. A. Barrell; Floribunda Vase, H. L. M. Wyles; President’s Challenge Trophy, W J. Thompson; Artistic Trophy, Mrs H. W. Goar lay; Artistic Prize, Mrs E. Nicholls.
