Gift From Japan

A wooden printing block in Chinese characters, from the seventeenth century Yi Dynasty In Korea has been presented to the Canterbury Museum by the New Zealand Ambassador to Japan (Mr E. B E Taylor). At the annual meeting of the Museum Trust Board yesterday a hope was expressed that now Mr Taylor knew of the interest of the museum in such articles fu-ther gifts would be received.
