University Council Nominee

The Shirley Boys’ High School board of governors agreed last night to support the nomination of Professor G. Jobberns as the postprimary schools 1 representative on the Council of the University of Canterbury. Professor Jobberns has been chairman of the Avonside Giris’ High School board of governors since its inception. and a member of the, Post-Primary Schools’ Council for many years.

Mrs L-. R. Hartley was reelected chairman of the board, with Mr G. S. Gardner as her deputy.
