Eruption At Taupo
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, April 16. A small eruption occurred in Mission Bay, Lake Taupo, oq Sunday morning. Nearby observers in boats described it as like a boiling pool in the thermal region. Wavelets radiated out for some minutes and there was a strong smell of hydrogen sulphide.
