£l00 Missing From Hotel
(NX Press Association) TIMARU, April 16. The sum of £lOO in cash was s‘olen from a drawer in the office of the Fairlie Hotel between 7.15 p.m. on Monday and 8 am. today, the licensee of the hotel, Mr J. T. O’Connor, reported to the police today. The Timaru C. 1.8. said Mrs O’Connor had locked the door to the office before retiring to bed last night This morning the door was found to be slightly ajar but there was no sign of it having been forced
