(From Our Own Reporter) WBSTPORT, April 15. In a thrilling final, the Westport Returned Services’ Club’s team, skipped bv P. Head, won the Buller Bowling' Centre’s Baster fours tournament today, 19-16. from a Runanga four, led by I. Kitchen. Runanga led 14-5 at the eleventh head, but then the Returned Services’ green tightened up Ln the late afternoon and the local four gradually made up their leeway. At the end of the eighteenth head, Runanga still led by 1615. but, at the nineteenth, the score was 16-all. Head scored a two on the twentieth, to lead for the first time since the first lead

He was two up on the final head, and seemed to have the game well in hand when the skips took their turns. How-i ever Kitchen played a brilliant bowl to trail kitty and get three shots, to put him one in the lead.

McKinley. W. Gilmour, and P. Head (skip). The Runanga four was W. Hales. A. Thompson, A. Taylor, and I. Kitchen (s.).
