The judicial committee of the Feeding Jockey Club today suspended the jockey, L. Tournier, for two weeks. Tournier, who rode Three Kings in the Oroua Hack Cup, was found guilty of causing interference inside the final furlong to Redfast (A. T. Jones), which in turn interferred with Precarious (K. S. Cullen). The committee heard from the stipendiary steward and the riders involved before suspending Tournier till 5 pan. on April 27.
