(N Z Press Assn —Cop-jnght) ADELAIDE. April 15. Blue Gum today became the first New Zealand horse to win the £A4200 Great Eastern Steepechase at Oakbank, near Adelaide. He raced home over one and a quarter miles and 21 fences. His pace wa« too hot for the five others wi.o finished. Six others started but dropped out. The race is the highlight of Adelaide's Easter week-end racing
