Higt Hopes For Moonie Field

BRISBANE, April 13

One of the world’s pioneers in oil development said yesterday he held great hopes for the future erf the Moonie oilfield, near Tara, west of Brisbane. He is Mr G. S. Connors who in his 40 years in the oil industry has laid 50,000 miles of oil pipelines. Mr Connors, aged 73. founded the William Brothers Company erf Tulsa, Oklahoma. He said be was impressed with the development at Moonie and considered it to have as sound a future as any oilfield at the same stage of development he had seen. He is a member erf the Canadian and United States oil mission which visited the Moonie field this week.
