Injured When Car Hit Tree
(N.Z. Press Association) DANNEVIRKE, April 9. An 82-year-old man was Injured early this morning when the car he was driving left the road at the southern approach to Dannevirke, ran up a bank, smashed through a gate and ran into a tree about 40 yards from the roadway. He is Arthur Baker, of Tomoana road, Hastings, who was taken to hospital by ambulance. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
