Air Pollution Prevention
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. April 9. Auckland industrial firms spent between £lOO.OOO and £150.000 last .year on equipment for the prevention of air pollution, the chemical inspector for the Health Department in Auckland, Mr C. F. Denmead, told the Auckland Creditmen's Club today. '"Riey will be spendinc even more this year.” be said. However. Auckland air was relatively pure in relation to that of some cities overseas.
