Notable Hole-In-One
A hole in one with a difference was scored by A. V. Beattie at Hanmer Springs recently; the hole in one was an albatross, reducing the scoring of ones at short holes to the commonplace. What is more, Beattie played his perfect shot at one of the most famous holes on Canterbury courses—the “Wrecker,** the fourth at Hanmer.
