4 On The Beach’ March Planned (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 29. "On The Beach’’ is to be the theme of this year’s Easter pilgrimage organised by the New Zealand Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. the secretary of the campaign, Mrs Mary Woodward, said today.

“We want to bring home to people the potential reality of the sort of situation depicted in Neville Shute’s book,” said Mrs Woodward.

“Accordingly we are commencing this year’s march at Paraparaumu and walking the 30 miles to Parliament Buildings, Wellington, along as many beaches as possible.’’ An open-air meeting would be held outside Parliament Buildings on Easter Monday.
