Mar. 29 Three American generals were caught in a savage Communist guerrilla attack on a village, 130 miles south of Saigon last Wednesday military sources said today The guerrilla battalion shelled the village with heavy mortars shortly after the generals landed by helicopter on an inspection tour They are Major-General Charles Timmes, chief of the U.S. military advisory assistance group, Vietnam. Br’gadier - General Robert Rowland and Brigadier-Gen-eral Joseph Stilwell.
