PRISONER WARNED

Aged 30; 46 Convictions (N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, March 26 “You are only 30 years of age, but you have 46 convictions,” said Mr L N Ritchie. S M., to Colin David George Mclntosh, alias Allin Mclntosh, in the Magistrate's Court at Gisborne today, when sentencing him to a total of three years and a half imprisonment. Mclntosh, who appeared for sentence on 10 charges of false pretences, five of obtaining credit by fraud, one of converting a station waggon, and one of committing a breech of his probation, was warned that if he offended again he would be liable to be sentenced to preventive detention.
